smokin' gun

Another ones freedom lost today,
One more laid to rest,
Innocence stolen from the pure,
With a bullet in his chest.

Faked a smile for all the world to see.
Too proud to shed a tear,
Lonely fool, devil had your tongue.

Asked him for a reason,
He gave me only one,
Oh oh oh
Smoking gun.

If I knew,
one more step would be too much,
Id carry you.
If I knew,
You couldn’t face another day,
Id hide with you.
If I knew
If I knew

Empty shadows from a broken past,
Deceived your own reflection,
Pale and cold, you said farewell my friend,
No longer need protection.

i felt you leave me, still I hold on tight
this world can be so cruel
lived a promise of a dreamers day,
goodbye my fellow fool.

Another ones freedom lost today,
One more laid to rest,
Innocence stolen from the pure,
With a bullet in his chest.

Faked a smile for all the world to see.
Too proud to shed a tear,
Lonely fool, devil had your tongue.

Asked him for a reason,
He gave me only one,
Oh oh oh
Smoking gun.

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS GOOD OR BAD. THANKS.
